Down in the lower level, just a few steps from the entrance to the indoor track that used to be a horse stable. The snack bar was supposed to be something like a club where one could go to get a sandwich and other snacks and pop and watch television. Maybe it was called the Johnson Common Room. It was rarely open. Anyone wish to comment on this snack bar?
I remember the Snack Bar, I had to get burgers and malts for my floor proctors several times. As I remember, the burgers were good. I don’t remember the hours, wondering if only open on Sunday nights? I always thought the sr. class ran the snack bar, but don’t remember being asked as a senior to take a turn, so maybe was closed by the time we became seniors. Dave W.
